Accreditations & Certifications
Stautzenberger College, Brecksville is approved by the State of Ohio Board of Career Colleges and Schools. The College is authorized to grant:
- Diplomas in Medical Assisting and Pharmacy Technician
- Associate Degrees in Applied Business in Broadcast Captioning, Court Reporting and Paralegal Studies
- Associate Degrees in Applied Science in Massage Therapy, Medical Assisting, Pharmacy Technician and Veterinary Technician
The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) accredits Stautzenberger College, Brecksville to award associate degrees and diplomas. ACICS is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a national accrediting agency and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

Stautzenberger College, Brecksville’s Veterinary Technology Program is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). AVMA accreditation of educational programs serves to inform the public of those institutions providing quality education for veterinary technicians and to benefit graduates by providing a measure of recognition, enhancing their prospects of employment mobility. In the State of Ohio, only graduates from AVMA accredited programs may become registered Veterinary Technicians.
All AVMA-accredited programs in veterinary technology must meet the Standards of Accreditation of the CVTEA to ensure the quality of the educational experience and the assessment of student knowledge and skills.

The Court Reporting and Broadcast Captioning programs of Stautzenberger College, Brecksville are certified by the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA). The NCRA offers certifications to institutions that are committed to excellence in real-time reporter education and have met the General Requirements and Minimum Standards (GRMS) established by the Council on Approved Student Education (CASE) of the National Court Reporters Association.
