American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA)

Stautzenberger College, Brecksville’s Veterinary Technology Program is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). AVMA accreditation of educational programs serves to inform the public of those institutions providing quality education for veterinary technicians and to benefit graduates by providing a measure of recognition, enhancing their prospects of employment mobility. In the State of Ohio, only graduates from AVMA accredited programs may become registered Veterinary Technicians.

All AVMA-accredited programs in veterinary technology must meet the Standards of Accreditation of the CVTEA to ensure the quality of the educational experience and the assessment of student knowledge and skills.

National Court Reporters Association (NCRA)

The Court Reporting and Broadcast Captioning programs of Stautzenberger College, Brecksville are certified by the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA). The NCRA offers certifications to institutions that are committed to excellence in real-time reporter education and have met the General Requirements and Minimum Standards (GRMS) established by the Council on Approved Student Education (CASE) of the National Court Reporters Association.

National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB)

The National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork has awarded Stautzenberger College, Brecksville as an Assigned School. Thus allowing student who choose this option to become nationally certified. NCBTMB works with educational institutions to ensure that the schools’ programs reflect national standards of excellence.

The National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork is an independent, private, nonprofit organization established to set high standards of ethical and professional practice through a recognized, credible credentialing program. NCBTMB certifies massage therapists and bodyworkers on behalf of the profession, and for the benefit of consumers, employers and practitioners. Currently, there are nearly 90,000 nationally certified practitioners – and NCBTMB examinations are used/recognized in statute or rule by 38 states, plus the District of Columbia.
